I’m thrilled to run for Alderwoman of Ward 1, ready to bring fresh ideas and strong pro-business support to our vibrant downtown community. McHenry has incredible potential, and I’m eager to see it continue to thrive.

My Vision for McHenry

Over the coming years, I’ll focus on:

• Downtown Development: Ensuring residents have a voice in key redevelopment projects like the former wastewater treatment plant and Landmark School building. Together, we can solve challenges such as available parking and create a downtown everyone can enjoy.
• Affordable Housing Solutions: Addressing the critical need for available and affordable housing. I’ll work to attract developers for single-family homes, apartments, and multi-family dwellings that meet the needs of our growing community.
• New Business Growth: Encouraging businesses and residents to relocate to McHenry by fostering a welcoming environment and identifying ways to maintain or even reduce residential taxes while delivering excellent community services.

A Commitment to Change

One of the issues I’m most passionate about is establishing term limits for City Council members. Fresh perspectives and new ideas are vital for progress, and I’m committed to starting this important conversation.
